Dr. Abosaida's medical journey began at Tripoli University, where he obtained his medical degree. He pursued a specialization in pediatrics during his residency at Woodhull Medical Center. This affiliation with the university-based institution deepened his passion for excellence in healthcare. His keen interest in treating children with asthma, cystic fibrosis, and other chronic respiratory disorders led him to pursue a further specialization. He completed a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the University of California, Irvine, marking his expertise in the field. As a result, he holds board certifications in general pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology.
Dr. Abosaida has served the central Iowa community for over a decade. He is a compassionate and committed pediatric pulmonologist who finds genuine joy in connecting with his patients and their families. Dr. Abosaida’s philosophy centers on educating patients and building strong partnerships.
